Our client is looking for a Development Manager for a new build residential development. We are particularly looking for someone with previous proven experience in mobilisation of a new large build project. Your principal responsibility will be for the effective and efficient management of a growing new build residential development in terms of managing relationships between residents and developer, managing mechanical and engineering contracts and engineers, managing communal services contracts, daily documented internal and external inspections of the common parts, managing health and safety and fire prevention measures.
Customer service with the leaseholders is a major priority as well as effective communication both in writing and verbally with the leaseholders, developer and managing agent and attending regular meetings as appropriate, monitoring, reviewing and managing a multiple schedule service charge expenditure and controlling costs, ensuring all Health & Safety obligations and Duty of Care are met effectively. You must have a strong solid proven track record within a similar environment, an understanding of building maintenance knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and carrying out risk assessments. The successful candidate will be IT literate, have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills as well as being truly motivated, tenacious and resourceful.
