Our client is looking for an experienced Head Porter/Concierge to take control of the day to day operations and manage a team of 6 staff at a private residential development in Chelsea. Must have a strong proven track record.
Your primary function will be not only be to provide a professional front of house reception facility for residents but also maintain tight security measures, conduct routine checks of the entire premises, manage on site contractors, liaise with the managing agent regarding reactive maintenance and generally ensuring the smooth running of the building. It will be essential for the successful candidate to have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills with the focus on service delivery and exceeding client expectations without over promising and under delivering! Other duties include parcel management, the safeguarding of keys, monitoring CCTV, monitoring and managing the parking of vehicles in the courtyard, assisting the Estate Manager with the preparation and delivery of circular letters etc., and carrying out any other tasks as directed by the Estate manager such as ordering cleaning supplies, reading meters, etc.
The successful candidate will be super polished, well presented, engaging, personable and experienced at working with high profile customers and people from all different backgrounds and at all different levels. Other essentials will be to have good IT skills, investigating and reporting experience, highly vigilant, good initiative with a very critical eye for detail.
