On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Live In Porter/Concierge who has direct experience in looking after a private residential block of flats. Our client needs someone trustworthy with good organisational skills, self-motivation and great customer service skills. Security in the building is of utmost importance so the Porter will be responsible for maintaining security by controlling access and conducting regular building checks and CCTV monitoring as well as screening visitors.
Other duties will including parcel and key management and front reception duties, fire safety checks and handling any reactive maintenance issues involving liaising with both contractors and the managing agent effectively and therefore you must have a strong fluid command of English. You will be the leader in charge of the cleaning and porterage staff but must also be an excellent team player to support the team and must be able to respond to out of hours emergencies which is why the role is a live in position. A flexible attitude to work is essential in ensuring the building is well maintained and customer service with the residents is priority. The role comes with a two bedroom accommodation plus utilities and Council Tax paid for.
