Reliable and proactive Morning Porter needed asap to join a residential development near the Barbican. This is a varied role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to residents. Key responsibilities include ensuring the building is safe, secure and well-presented at all times, liaising professionally with residents, contractors and visitors, managing access control, carrying out tasks assigned by the Property Manager, following site procedures and maintaining accurate records in the daily logbook, general cleaning of the communal areas, rubbish collection and bin management, and basic gardening and upkeep of the external areas. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a porter, caretaker or residential concierge role, good computer skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, and be reliable, organised and able to work independently. An understanding of the relevant provisions of the ARMA and RICS Codes of Practice would be advantageous.
