Our client managed a well-established private apartment block in Kensington. This permanent role will suit someone with a strong proven track record of working alone unsupervised and therefore someone with initiative, good organisational skills and self-motivation and strong sense of responsibility to take care of the day-to-day operations of the block. Must have good communication and great customer service skills. Although the role will involve some minor maintenance plus residents domestic rubbish collection rounds, the role is definitely a front of house customer service focused role to deal with residents professionally every day. The role will be ensuring that the security of the building is maintained at all times. Duties will include ensuring that the buildings facilities, such as the lift, entry phone, boilers etc., are in good working order, taking regular utility meter readings for the apartments, maintaining the overall high standard of cleanliness in all communal areas (both internally and externally), being responsible for key holding, monitoring CCTV, overseeing any work carried out by contractors on site, parcel management, undertaking regular security patrols, and developing a close and productive working relationship with both the Managing Agents and the Residents. All applicants must be proactive, practical and have a great level of self-motivation, have a strong proven track records and be able to produce checkable employer’s references. Must have excellent English communication skills, customer service skills, initiative, common sense, and a genuine desire to help out when necessary.
