Porter required to take responsibility for day to day operations of this residential block in Surrey Quays and be the first point of contact for the residents. Our client needs someone trustworthy with good organisational skills and self-motivation, good manual dexterity and great customer service skills.
The role will involve a combination of cleaning, rubbish collection, basic maintenance such as light bulb changes, and ensuring that the security of the building is maintained at all times. Duties will include ensuring that the buildings facilities, such as the entry phone, boilers etc., are in good working order, maintaining the overall high standard of cleanliness in all communal areas (both internally and externally), to include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and glass cleaning, being responsible for key holding, monitoring CCTV, overseeing any work carried out by contractors on site, parcel management, undertaking regular security patrols, and developing a close and productive working relationship with both the Managing Agents and the Residents.
All applicants must be extremely customer focused, have a good command of the English language both written and spoken, be security conscious and have good attention to detail.
