This is a TEMPORARY role with an IMMEDIATE start! Customer focused and dynamic Estate Manager urgently required at this large residential development close to Canning Town tube station. The Estate Manager will be the key focal point for all queries from residents and other key stakeholders and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all staff within the development, in conjunction with the Property Manager. Key responsibilities will include conducting and contributing to regular departmental communications meetings, conducting staff appraisals, co-ordinating the recruitment process for all onsite permanent and temporary staff, managing rotas, undertaking disciplinary issues, ensuring the effective security of residents and the building at all times, reporting any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents and complaints and taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency, pro-actively dealing with any maintenance and cleaning problems and regularly carrying out site inspections to identify any problems, monitoring and logging patrol duties, and assisting the Property Manager and relevant Director with any other reasonable duties as requested. The Estate Manager should have a strong and relevant proven track record, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team. Start ASAP!
