Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic Finance team. This is a full-time position ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding environment and possesses strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management abilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the finance department, with responsibilities spanning across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations, while also contributing to financial reporting and continuous improvement initiatives. A proactive “can-do” attitude, ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero) also Qube, Arthur and Blocks Online, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail, time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with colleagues and clients, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
