Exciting position available for a pro-active Business Development Manager with one of the country’s market leading firms of residential managing agents. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven individual to play a key role in driving business growth across the residential property sector. Reporting directly to the Head of Property & New Business, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships with developers and key stakeholders, leading the tender process and delivering against ambitious growth targets. You will cover the South region which includes from top of Norfolk to Birmingham to Cornwall including Wales and all the South Coast (excluding London and from within M25). Responsibilities will include developing and implementing regional business development strategies to achieve growth objectives, representing the company professionally at meetings, networking events and industry conferences, leading the preparation and submission of high-quality tender responses and proposals, motivating and supporting your team, delivering annual revenue and profitability targets, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of the residential property management sector, and producing clear and accurate reports for senior management. The Business Development Manager should have a proven track record in winning new business and developing client relationships, strong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills, a passion for building lasting partnerships and delivering exceptional customer outcomes, and ideally a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the residential property management, housing or property sector.
