Prestigious brand-new residential development near Waterloo are seeking an experienced front of house Assistant Manager with excellent proven experience. This is a night-based, floating role, providing leadership support to the Concierge team, covering the front desk when needed, and stepping in for the Manager during their absence. It is a very high profile and demanding environment and you must have impeccable organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. Routine duties will be ensuring the provision of excellent concierge services at the development, building strong working relationships with residents, guests, external contractors and colleagues, supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and training of the Concierge team members, providing regular feedback on team performance and assist the Manager with probation reviews and appraisals, holding regular catch-ups with night team members and the Manager, and assisting with rota planning of the team.
The ideal candidate should have a relevant TPI qualification, or willingness to obtain it within the first year of employment, previous supervisory or managerial experience in a high-end residential environment, with a flexible, hands-on, and innovative approach, strong leadership qualities, familiarity with building management systems, willingness to work flexible hours, including both day and night shifts as needed, the ability to interpret and understand complex legal documents such as leases, and a good understanding of Health and Safety processes.
