Our client is now recruiting for a responsible, reliable and experienced caretaker with some basic maintenance knowledge to take care of a private residential apartment block in Chelsea. The role comes with a one bedroom accommodation suitable for a single person or a couple and includes the benefit of rent, utilities and Council tax all paid for. The Caretaker is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation, cleanliness, and security of the building and its communal areas. Duties include managing deliveries, maintaining the cleanliness of indoor and outdoor spaces, supporting residents with minor maintenance tasks, monitoring contractors, and overseeing building systems such as heating, lighting, and security. Regular tasks also include garden upkeep, post management, refuse handling, and reporting issues to the managing agent. Candidates must have great direct experience in private residential blocks of apartments or strong transferable skills, excellent communication, a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude and expected to be courteous at all times.
