Immediate start available. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 2pm to 8pm plus alternating Saturdays 9am to 4pm. The Porter is ultimately the first point of contact at the entrance to the block of apartments for the purpose of both greeting residents, contractors and visitors and also to patrol the pavement to maintain a security presence, ensure cleanliness and control access. The Porter will provide a warm friendly doorman style service to the residents and should be ready at the entrance as much as possible to be available to assist residents. Specific duties will include parcel and key management, conduct external and internal building inspections to report any items of disrepair to the Estate Manager and take care of any areas in need of extra cleaning, assist residents with shopping bags/luggage. The role will also involve carefully removing tied refuse bags from outside flats to the refuse area on the weekends, taking meter readings, change light bulbs, record all occurrences in the daily log book. There is potential consideration to the hours being Mon to Fri 2pm to 8pm with every Sunday 9am to 3pm plus one in every 6 Saturdays with a view to the salary then being £26,750.
