Immediate start! We have an ongoing temp cover assignment with a view to potentially becoming permanent at a well-managed private luxury apartment block. This is an active cleaning/basic maintenance/porterage role where we need an excellent team player to work with the Head Porter in helping run day to day operations of the building. Must have an excellent command of English with fantastic customer service skills as the role will involve daily interaction with residents, visitors, contractors and daily liaison with the Head Porter. Routine duties carry out regular inspections and light cleaning duties within internal and external communal areas, fire door inspections, refuse area tidiness and general site standards, internal cleaning of the communal areas including corridors, landings, staircases and light garden maintenance of the external grounds, key and parcel management, assisting residents with luggage or shopping. Security duties include access control, building checks, vigilant key management. Must have a good level of physical fitness – the role involves regular movement across staircases and between blocks. Friendly and professional manner – comfortable interacting with residents on a daily basis. Must be Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Basic understanding of health and safety practices (training can be provided). Willingness to learn routine compliance tasks such as access control tests or minor site checks.
